BANANA BREADÂ
Banana bread has always been a staple desert in my home. This recipe originally came from one of my mom's old coworkers, and over the years I've adapted and changed it to my liking. It makes the whole house smell like sugary, buttery goodness.
Makes 3 loaves
Prep time: about 15 mins
Baking time: 50-60 minutes
Ingredients
4 medium well-ripened bananas
4 eggs
2 tbs vanilla extract
1 cup softened butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup sour cream
3.5 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In one bowl combine wet ingredients (I like using an immersion blender to really make sure everything is combined well)
In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredientsÂ
Fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients until well combined
Spray loaf tins with cooking or baking spray
Pour batter into tins
Bake for 50-60 minutes
